I was bored so I decided to redo my timeline. I use what I call the "Horse Series" as they are a good gauge of improvement since they're all horse/equine portraits that I have done since I started drawing in 2004 till 2008.

From top left to bottom right they are:
2004
Horse I-Spook Express (ref Prairie Bayou)
Horse II-Spook Express (ref Prairie Bayou)
Horse III-Funny Cide (ref Prairie Bayou)

2005
Horse IV-Spectacular Bid (ref Prairie Bayou)
Horse V (ref probably Prairie Bayou)

2006-nothing :(

2007
Horse VI-Cigar (ref Cassandra Streeter)

2008
Horse VII-Zebra (ref the other1?)

I have two or three planned out for this year.
Can Gallant Wolf top last years Horse VII? Or will his skills athropy? Find out in the next installment of Horse. (I'm bored ^^)

Well, the older ones I did years ago so I don't remmember how long. But they might take anywhere from 3 to 12 hours total ^^, nowadays it probably takes me about 12 hours over several days for one of them.

Wow!! I can definitely see improvement here. It's amazing when you put your most recent stuff near your oldest, isn't it? XD

I think I might have exaggerated a bit, I think the second to last one took me 12 hours, but the one after that maybe 7, so I'm getting faster ^^

Well... anyway it's a hard time... but i guess you don't finish the draw in one day...or you pass 7 hours drawing?
Anyway, the result it's excellente, almost real!

Sorry for the late reply. Most of the time I don't finish the drawing in one sitting. Usually I do a sketch one day, the line art another and the shading over a couple of days.
